Information evening for parents and students
During the DP Core Fair younger students from IST, as well as parents were informed about the IB core subjects (Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and CAS: Creativity, Activity, Service). The event was centered around IB students’ personal experiences. So, many DP1 and DP2 students talked about their encounters in one of these subjects. Every presenter had a different story, a different perspective. Through this, the listeners gained an insight into IB, its challenges, and learning approaches.
This was the first DP Core Fair at IST, but with more than 40 participants, the online event was a huge success. It will be held annually from now on. Thanks to Enan and Eileen for organising this!
