A day full of exciting activities
Festive decorations, chocolate on tables, exchanging books and presents, in short, it was time for Sinterklaas celebrations at the Secondary school.
All students brought gently used English books at the beginning of the day, in exchange for a new book once classes finished!
Previously, students drew each other’s names from a jar to decide who would be whose Secret Santa. On the first of December, during mentor time, they exchanged gifts. The extra challenge was to wrap the present in the form of an object, which the other person likes (the Dutch tradition of ‘surprise’ making).
