Tuesday, the 2nd of June, marked the reopening of the IST Secondary School.
After a long time staying at home, we were all excited to see our friends again ‘live’, even if only from a 1.5m distance. My classes started early, and I was the first one in the department, welcomed by disinfectant and a loud cheering from the teachers. After a brief introduction to the ‘new’ school rules, the official classes started. We attentively nodded at everything the teachers explained, however, what we were really looking forward to was break time. The bell rang, and the chit-chat immediately started. Unfortunately we only had 20 minutes. Later, we had a few more lessons, and then went home. I never thought I would say this, but I missed school! I can’t wait to come back tomorrow.
